Viagra Extra Dosage
Viagra Extra Dosage is a prescription medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). It belongs to a class of drugs called phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors (PDE5 inhibitors), which are used to treat conditions such as pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH). Viagra Extra Dosage is available as a tablet and should be taken orally with or without food. It is typically taken as needed, about 30 minutes to 1 hour before sexual activity.
Common side effects of Viagra Extra Dosage include headache, flushing, upset stomach, abnormal vision, stuffy or runny nose, back pain, muscle pain, and nausea. Viagra Extra Dosage can cause serious side effects. Tell your doctor if you experience rare but serious side effects of Viagra Extra Dosage including:
- vision changes (e.g., increased sensitivity to light, blue/green color tint to vision),
- sudden decrease or loss of hearing,
- ringing in the ears,
- chest pain or heavy feeling,
- pain spreading to the arm or shoulder,
- nausea,
- sweating,
- general ill feeling,
- irregular heartbeat,
- swelling in your hands, ankles, or feet,
- shortness of breath,
- vision problems,
- feeling light-headed or fainting.
Viagra Extra Dosage can cause a serious drop in blood pressure, especially if it is taken with certain other medications. Do not take Viagra Extra Dosage if you are taking nitrates (such as isosorbide, nitroglycerin, or other nitrates).
Before taking Viagra Extra Dosage, tell your doctor about all your medical conditions, including if you:
- have or have had heart problems such as a heart attack, irregular heartbeat, angina, chest pain, narrowing of the aortic valve, or heart failure
- have had heart surgery within the last 6 months
- have pulmonary hypertension
- have had a stroke
- have low blood pressure, or high blood pressure that is not controlled
- have a deformed penis shape
- have had an erection that lasted for more than 4 hours
- have problems with your blood cells such as sickle cell anemia, multiple myeloma, or leukemia
- have bleeding problems
- have or have had stomach or intestinal ulcers
- have retinitis pigmentosa, a rare genetic (runs in families) eye disease
- have ever had severe vision loss, including a condition called NAION
- have kidney problems or are having kidney dialysis
- have any other medical conditions
Tell your doctor about all your current medicines and any you start or stop using, especially:
- nitrates such as amyl nitrite, isosorbide dinitrate, isosorbide mononitrate, nitroglycerin
- other medicines for erectile dysfunction
- bosentan
- cimetidine
- conivaptan
- imatinib, STI-571
- isoniazid
- nefazodone
- other medications or treatments for PAH
- phenobarbital
- phenytoin
- rifabutin
- rifampin
- St.
- John's wort
- troleandomycin
- voriconazole

Viagra Extra Dosage is not for use in women. This medicine is not expected to harm an unborn baby. Women should not take Viagra Extra Dosage.
Do not take Viagra Extra Dosage if you are also using a nitrate drug for chest pain or heart problems. This includes nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate, and isosorbide mononitrate. Nitrates are also found in some recreational drugs such as amyl nitrate or nitrite ("poppers"). Taking Viagra Extra Dosage with a nitrate medicine can cause a sudden and serious decrease in blood pressure.
If you are 65 or older, you may have more side effects from Viagra Extra Dosage. Your doctor may start you on a lower dose of Viagra Extra Dosage.
Tell your doctor if you have ever been advised by a health care professional to avoid sexual activity for medical reasons.
Viagra Extra Dosage can decrease blood flow to the optic nerve of the eye, causing sudden vision loss. This has occurred in a small number of people, most of whom also had heart disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or certain pre-existing eye problems, and in those who smoked or were over 50 years old. It is not clear whether Viagra Extra Dosage is the actual cause of vision loss.
Stop taking Viagra Extra Dosage and call your doctor at once if you have sudden vision loss.
Before taking this medicine
You should not take Viagra Extra Dosage if you are allergic to sildenafil, or:
- if you take other medicines to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension, such as riociguat (Adempas)
- if you are also taking a nitrate drug for chest pain or heart problems, including nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate, isosorb
