<p>Tadala Black is a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). It’s a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor. Tadala Black relaxes the muscles found in the walls of blood vessels and increases blood flow to particular areas of the body.</p>
<p>Tadala Black is used to treat erectile dysfunction (ED). ED is the inability to get or maintain an erection. Tadala Black may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.</p>
<h2>Important Information</h2>
<p>You should not use Tadala Black if you are allergic to tadalafil.</p>
<p>To make sure Tadala Black is safe for you, tell your doctor if you have ever had:</p>
<ul>
<li>heart disease or heart rhythm problems;</li>
<li>a heart attack or stroke;</li>
<li>angina (chest pain), high or low blood pressure;</li>
<li>pulmonary hypertension (unless you are also taking Revatio);</li>
<li>a bleeding disorder such as hemophilia;</li>
<li>a blood cell disorder such as sickle cell anemia, multiple myeloma, or leukemia;</li>
<li>a stomach ulcer;</li>
<li>retinitis pigmentosa (an inherited condition of the eye);</li>
<li>a physical deformity of the penis (such as Peyronie’s disease); or</li>
<li>if you have been told you should not have sexual intercourse for health reasons.</li>
</ul>
<p>Taking Tadala Black may cause a sudden drop in blood pressure, which could lead to dizziness or fainting. Alcohol and grapefruit may also increase the side effects of Tadala Black.</p>
<p>If you become dizzy or nauseated during sexual activity, or if you have pain, numbness, or tingling in your chest, arms, neck, or jaw, stop and call your doctor right away. You could be having a serious side effect of Tadala Black.</p>
<p>Do not take Tadala Black more than once per day. Allow 24 hours to pass between doses.</p>
<p>Grapefruit and grapefruit juice may interact with Tadala Black and lead to unwanted side effects. Avoid the use of grapefruit products while taking this medicine.</p>
<p>Avoid drinking alcohol. It can increase certain side effects of Tadala Black.</p>
<p>Do not take Tadala Black if you are also using a nitrate drug for chest pain or heart problems, including nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate, isosorbide mononitrate, and some recreational drugs such as "poppers". Taking tadalafil with a nitrate medicine can cause a sudden and serious decrease in blood pressure.</p>
<p>Some medicines can cause unwanted or dangerous effects when used with Tadala Black. Your doctor may change your treatment plan if you also use:</p>
<ul>
<li>rifampin or rifabutin;</li>
<li>St. John’s wort;</li>
<li>an antibiotic--azithromycin, clarithromycin, erythromycin, levofloxacin, neomycin, oxacillin, penicillin, telithromycin, tetracycline, or vancomycin;</li>
<li>antifungal medicine--itraconazole, ketoconazole, posaconazole, voriconazole;</li>
<li>heart or blood pressure medication--amlodipine, diltiazem, nifedipine, verapamil; or</li>
<li>HIV/AIDS medicine--atazanavir, indinavir, ritonavir, saquinavir.</li>
</ul>

<p>Usual Adult Dose for Erectile Dysfunction:</p>
<p>Initial dose: 10 mg orally once a day, as needed, prior to sexual activity</p>
<p>Maintenance: 5 to 20 mg orally once a day, as needed, prior to sexual activity</p>
